Year 3/4A

Camp Manyung
Last week, our Year 3/4 students had an incredible time at Camp Manyung! It was fantastic to see so many students stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new experiences and supporting one another throughout the camp.
The students took part in a fantastic range of activities, including the flying fox, giant swing, beach walk, archery, crate climbing and tree rolling. There were plenty of laughs, excitement and a few nervous moments along the way! Whether they were soaring through the air, carefully climbing higher and higher on the crates, or cheering on their classmates, the students embraced every challenge with enthusiasm.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the camp was seeing the growth in confidence and independence. Students were encouraged to have a go, make decisions for themselves, overcome challenges and persist when things became difficult. They also demonstrated wonderful teamwork, encouraging and supporting their classmates along the way.
This camp was a fantastic opportunity for our Year 3/4 students to build friendships, create lasting memories and discover that they are capable of much more than they sometimes realise. Well done, Year 3/4, on an amazing camp!

Camp by Clara
On the 9th of September 2026, the 3-6 students went on camp to Camp Manyung.
When we got to the camp we walked up this big hill. When we finally got to the cabins Jess told us that we could go in the cabins, but first Miss Mac had to read who was going to be in a room with us. I was with Chloe, Elouise and Harlow. When we got to our room, we made our beds and then we got to eat snack.
After snack my group went to the first activity which was tree rolling. It was really fun. It's when you get in a harness and you also get clipped onto something else. It's called a hook and it's really safe. There were so many obstacles. After tree rolling we went back to the cabin for lunch.
After lunch we did the giant swing. It was so much fun! I loved it. The giant swing is where you get in the harness, helment and glasses. You go up the ladder and you get clipped into the seat. You get hoisted up to the top, and then you pull the rope and you will drop! It might look scary, but it's really not. It's actually so much fun. Half way through it started raining. I got drenched. Everyone was so wet.
When we finished we went back for shows. It got dark and we did a talent show.
The next day we did an activity called Marine Discovery which was at the beach. We went down a really big hill. We were seeing if there were crabs in the rock pools. Going back up the hill was so tiring!
The next activity was a race! First my group went to the tree rolling and we were the second last group.
Then we went to an activity called Risky Kids. We did cartwheels, handstands and parkour.
Our last activity for the day was crate climbing. We had two crates on the ground and we had to stack more on them and climb up.
Then we went back to the cabins and watched a movie called Goat. We also went on a night walk.
On the final day we went to archery and then we did the flying fox. Then we returned to school!
