As we come to the end of another very busy and exciting term, we would like to celebrate some of the wonderful highlights we have shared as a school community. From our 100 Days of School celebration and Book Week dress-up day to Swimming lessons and our fantastic Father’s Day Sausage and Sport Afternoon, it has been a term filled with learning, fun and special memories. We are also looking forward to finishing the term with our upcoming Footy Day and special lunch!

Thank you to our students, families and staff for making Term 3 such a wonderful one. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting Term 4!

BOOK WEEK:

Our school was bursting with color, creativity, and imagination as our wonderful students proudly dressed up as their favorite book characters for Book Week.From classic storybook heroes to magical creatures, every costume helped bring the joy of reading to life with plenty of smiles and excitement. A big thank you to our families and staff for helping make this celebration of stories so special.

SOUNDS WRITE: Preps

This term students have been learning to read and spell words with the digraphs 

'sh, ch, ng, wh, ck, th' and writing on dotted thirds. Look at our amazing Sounds Write work!

TEXT FOCUS: Mr Men series

This term, our students focused on the wonderful world of the Mr. Men book series, exploring characters like Mr. Happy, Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Cool, and Mr. Strong. After reading and discussing the stories, the children unleashed their creativity by writing and drawing their very own character adventures. We also brought these colorful personalities into our maths lessons, where students made exciting connections between the characters and 2D shapes. It has been a fantastic way to blend storytelling, art, and geometry!

Father's Day

We had a fantastic time celebrating Father’s Day with our Sausage & Sport Afternoon! It was wonderful to see so many families connecting with our school community, enjoying a range of fun sporting activities together and, of course, finishing the afternoon with a delicious sausage in bread. A wonderful afternoon of fun, connection and community!
