PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

SMOOTHIES

As part of their VM Personal Development Skills community project, Year 12 students Rhiannon and Lily brought healthy eating to the spotlight with their smoothie stall! They took full responsibility for the project - sourcing supplies, collecting orders, and preparing delicious smoothies for both staff and fellow Year 12 students. Their focus was on promoting nutritious choices in a fun and practical way, and the stall was a hit with everyone who stopped by. A fantastic effort that showcased initiative, teamwork, and a strong commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles within our school community!"

SAUSAGE SIZZLE

On Thursday the 11th of September, some of the VM students raised $199.59  with a sausage sizzle  and  cupcake  fundraising  stall as a part of their VM Project  in support of R U OK? Day.

This initiative is part of their Community Project in VM Personal Development classes.

All proceeds  go directly to R U OK? Day, supporting the vital work they do to promote mental health and meaningful conversations.

Thank you to everyone who got behind our students as they raised both funds and awareness for this important cause.

MOVIE NIGHT

Another project ran by the VM students was a Year 12 Movie night held this week.  Students enjoyed -  Pizza, hot chips, soft drinks, and great company. Two movies were voted and watched - Ten Things I Hate About You and Legally Blonde.
