What is Bairnsdale parkrun?

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

When is it?

Every Saturday at 8:00am.

Where is it?

The event takes place at Mitchell Port Road, Bairnsdale, 3875.

What does it cost to join in?

Nothing - it's free! but please register before you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won't get a time.

How fast do I have to be?

We all take part for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

Host Families needed

YFU Student Exchange, a not-for-profit organisation that has been running international student exchange programs in Australia and around the world for over 60 years, is currently looking to place international high school students within the Bairnsdale Secondary College community in Bairnsdale, for their upcoming exchange programs starting in January and April next year.

Hosting a student is a wonderful way for local families to experience another culture, share the Australian lifestyle, and create lifelong friendships. The students come from a variety of countries including France, Germany, Italy and Argentina, and are eager to become part of a welcoming Australian family during their stay.
