This fortnight, Eric (Year 4) is sharing his persuasive piece, where he argues that travelling in a private motor vehicle is batter than public transport. I trust you enjoy it, just as much as I have:

Using a Car is Better than Using Public Transport 

Transport is a need for humans every day, if you are going to school, work and many more. It all requires one thing specifically ….. transport! Two ways of transport stand out. Public and private, which both rival each other. However, I think people should use private over public transport, due to many reasons.

To start with, do you need a schedule for private transport? Of course not! Unlike public transport, people don’t have to run a marathon to catch a car. Just take one step, open the door and go inside. It’s easy peasy lemon squeezy! 

In addition, you’ll in full control of your convenient journey. Unlike public transport, they aren’t door to door stopovers. When you travel privately, you control the windows, temperature and listening to your favourite songs anywhere, anytime! It’s a win-win situation.

Moreover, it’s safer for you, instead of risking your life in the hands of other people, you can control the pattern and speed of your driving. This gives you an actual sense of security. You will have a state of peace in your mind. Also, you can stick and pack any bags or resources anytime, anywhere. 

Nevertheless, some people argue that public transport is still better. Their trump card is that it’s cheaper and it enhances social life. But they are completely incorrect.

In conclusion, it’s crystal clear that travelling in a private care is better than public transport. No schedule, it’s safer and a lot more convenient for everyone. So let’s switch to private transport!
