Captains Corner

The Captain’s Corner section provides an opportunity for our School Captains to share some information or news about our school, below is a piece from Jenny: 

Hello everyone! It is currently Term 1 Week 8, and it’s wonderful to still see everyone with the same enthusiasm as the start of the year. I am Jennie, one of the female Vice School Captains, and I’m ready to update you about some of the upcoming events. I hope everyone will eagerly participate in these events.

Over the past few weeks, students have participated in some enjoyable swimming lessons. Everyone did a fantastic job and it was great to see everyone having fun in the water! Thank you everyone who has participated in the swimming program. Please note that all the swimming classes have finished, with the last session on Wednesday, 18 March. I hope everyone had fun 🤩!

Every year, there is a Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital, when we donate to support sick kids. This year, we’re having the Coin Race and can everyone please remember to bring coins from home. You can ask your family or friends to help you and ask if they would like to contribute to making a difference. We hope to see everyone donating to help kids from Victoria who are less fortunate than us.

As we’re entering autumn 🍂, our Zooper Dooper sales are coming to an end. The purchase of icy poles will end this term. I hope everyone cherished their Zooper Doopers during the Summer heat and we can’t wait for the sale to return in Term 4!

The Grade 3 and 5 have been busy completing their NAPLAN. We want to say a huge “well done” to everyone involved. Good luck to everyone who had participated in the assessment and thank you for practicing really hard. We are very proud of your hard work and appreciate the effort. We look forward to seeing the results!
