School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to the last newsletter of the term!

The year is flying by so quickly and we hope everyone is staying warm. So here are some highlights from the past two weeks.

Wednesday was the staff vs students match at lunch to see who takes home the gold. This term the sport chosen was soccer and it was fantastic to see most people cheering for the students. Although it was a draw, both teams played an awesome game.

A range of Year Five to Six students have been training and trialling for the ENPS netball team. The final team of 10 was announced on Tuesday so congratulations to Sam from Year Five, and Ethan, Alex, Mila, Sophie, Tiffany, Amelia, Elsie, Indie and myself (Georgia) from Year Six. These students will be competing in the Netball Victoria School Championships on the 7th of August.

We have also been hosting our ENPS World Cup soccer tournament, so congratulations to the four teams/countries that made it through to the finals. It has been so much fun watching the teams filled with students from Year Four to Six play and have fun at lunchtime.

We also just wanted to shout out Frankie, who is our Gurrin House Captain, because she has gone through multiple rounds of State School Victoria trials over this term. There were roughly 140 students from all over Victoria who tried out and Frankie was talented enough to be picked as a training partner/back up in the top 20! This is such an amazing achievement so if you see her walking around the school make sure you congratulate her.

We also had parent teacher interviews last week in Wednesday, so it was only a half day for the students.

“Be the one to make others feel included”

We hope everyone has a great holiday and we can't wait to see everyone back at school!

Sincerely,

Your School Captains, Georgia and Ethan.
