Year 6 students have been busy learning four new ukulele chords and have begun putting their skills into practice by learning a song. It has been wonderful to see the perseverance, patience and determination shown by all students as they develop their musical skills. Keep up the great work, Year 6!
Year 5 have been busy rocking out and learning how to bucket drum. They have learnt to hold sticks correctly and the positions to create melodic sounds on their buckets.
MLC students have been developing their musical skills by learning to play the xylophone and beginning to read sheet music. It’s wonderful to see students building their confidence, rhythm and understanding of music through these hands-on activities!
JLC students have been exploring melody and pitch and creating their own four-beat patterns using body percussion.
