Senior Learning Community

The SLC students had a fantastic time at camp, embracing new experiences and stepping outside their comfort zones. It was wonderful to see students challenge themselves, support one another, and demonstrate resilience while participating in a range of activities. We are incredibly proud of the courage, teamwork, and positive attitudes displayed throughout the camp.
YEAR 5
In English this term, Year 5 students are about to start reading The Last Bear by Hannah Gold. The novel follows April, who discovers a lonely polar bear on a remote Arctic island and forms a special friendship with him. Together, they face challenges that highlight the importance of courage, friendship, and protecting our environment. We look forward to exploring the themes and messages of this engaging text throughout the term.
YEAR 6:
A reminder that students will need to bring in a shoebox for our Science unit. Please ensure your child brings a shoebox to school as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
