93rd Student ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony

Monday April 28

29 Lilydale High students joined Melbourne Legacy at the Shrine of Remembrance to remember and give thanks to the men and women whose love and sacrifice in wartime have enabled Australians to live in peace and freedom.

Our students were not only participating in a memorial but were also embracing lessons of resilience and the importance of commemorating history for future generations.

As part of the ceremony, Ari Cooper and Ben Seymour (Year 9) laid a wreath on behalf of the school as a sign of respect, remembering those who fought for their rights and freedoms.
