Sport & Co-Curricular

Senior Co-curricular Sport
A big thank you to our wonderful students for representing Loreto so well this term. It is fantastic to see so many students playing sport, developing their skills, and having fun with their friends. I am constantly impressed by the sportsmanship on display, whether it’s a student putting up their hand to help the opposition when they’re short of players, or a student congratulating an opponent on a great shot. Your positivity and spirit make our community proud!
Our Year 7 volleyballers wrapped up their season with a very special final match, taking on their parents! What began as a forfeit from the opposition quickly turned into a fun (and surprisingly competitive!) students vs parents showdown. It was a fantastic way to finish the year, full of laughter, great rallies, and plenty of school spirit.

Between the Lines Book Club
Book Club this term has been filled with fun and equal chaos as we celebrated our second year. Mission Day book stall was a huge success, with the Blind Date Books selling out quickly as they had in previous years. Every week in Book Club, we discuss the books that we have been vigilantly reading throughout the term. We also discussed our plans for the following year. After our struggles concerning the novel ‘Powerless’, we decided to read short stories every week and discuss the storyline of the book. With the help of Ruby M (Class of 2025), we also elected a captain of books as well as a sub captain, which will be rotated every term.
