Norwood Christmas Pageant
There was a wonderful sense of joy as our Preschool to Year 2 students made their way along the Parade for the Norwood Christmas Pageant, singing carols and shaking bells with great enthusiasm. It was heartening to see so many parents and families cheering and waving along the route, adding to the warm and festive spirit of the morning.

Christmas Concert
Last Friday, our Preschool to Year 6 community gathered in the Brigid Jones Gymnasium for our Christmas Concert. The evening was filled with enjoyment, music, and moments we will long remember. My thanks go to Tom Hamnett, Elicia Baldwin, and all classroom teachers for the tremendous effort they put into preparing the students so beautifully for this occasion.
We are also very grateful to our Parents and Friends Committee for seamlessly coordinating the change of location for the food service. Thanks to everyone’s flexibility and support, it was wonderful to come together and share such a special celebration as a community.

On Tuesday, we marked a significant milestone as our Year 6 girls celebrated their Graduation. This special ceremony highlights their time in the Junior School, and we are immensely proud of all they have achieved. Warm thanks to their teachers, Amanda Smith and Annelies Roe, for guiding, encouraging, and supporting the girls throughout the year.
To our graduating students, our very best wishes as you step into this next exciting stage of your learning journey. You will always hold a cherished place in the Junior School, and we look forward to welcoming you back for a visit.

As we conclude another memorable year, we thank our students, families, and staff for the warmth and partnership that shape Loreto College Marryatville.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a restful holiday as we look ahead to 2026.

Our Year 1 students were very excited to welcome Police Officer Tammie to school this week. During her visit, she spoke with the students about personal safety, safe and unsafe secrets, and how to identify trusted adults who can support them when they feel worried or unsure. The children engaged thoughtfully in discussions, asking insightful questions and sharing their own ideas about keeping themselves and others safe.
A highlight of the visit was the chance to explore a real police car. Students were able to peek inside, learn about the equipment officers use, and experience the siren up close - an unforgettable moment for many! We are grateful to Officer Tammie for her time and for helping our Year 1s develop a clearer understanding of how to stay safe in their world.
