Year 10 ACC SAS Netball

On Tuesday, 4 May the Year 10 Girls Netball Team competed in the ACC SAS Senior Carnival at Willetton Stadium. 

Facing strong competition throughout the day, the team consistently demonstrated impressive skill, teamwork, resilience, and composure under pressure.  

After round games, the team progressed to the 3 vs 4 final against John Wollaston.  The team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing with a well-earned bronze medal after an intense match that went into overtime and then a golden goal score by Shayla resulting in a final score of 25 to 24. 

Showing exceptional determination and endurance, the girls dug deep and maintained their focus, ultimately securing the win in a tightly contested finish.  Their ability to persevere and support one another in high-pressure moments was a credit to both the team and the school.

Congratulations to all players on a fantastic achievement and for representing Lumen with such pride and sportsmanship.
