Vinnies Term Two Activities

Welcome to another busy and meaningful term with Vinnies!

Our Community Kitchen program recommenced this week, running after school on Wednesday afternoons. It is always heartening to witness the dedication and enthusiasm of the students and staff who generously give their time to cook for those in need. The program will continue on odd weeks throughout Term 2.

Vinnies Cooking Sessions will be held on the following dates:

• May 20
• June 3
• June 17
• July 1

All sessions run from 3:10 pm to 4:30 pm in D Block.

Vinnies also recently held a Mother’s Day Raffle. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative. Funds raised will contribute to the Vinnies Winter Appeal. The raffle was drawn during Period 6 on Thursday, with winners as follows:

• Georgia Rochester 1st prize
• Rachelle Scott 2nd Prize
• Lee Duit 3rd prize.

The raffle raised just over $450 towards the Vinnies winter appeal.  Thank you so much to the community for your support of such a good cause.

As you begin sorting through winter items in the coming weeks, please keep in mind our upcoming Winter Blanket Appeal, which will take place later this term. Further details will be shared soon.
