From the Principal

Our recent Mother’s Day Breakfast was a wonderful celebration of relationship, community, and gratitude. Held before school in our Sports Centre, the event included over 700 guests and students, and was a great way to start the day.
There was no shortage of hospitality, with a wide selection of breakfast offerings, the ever-popular barista stations and plenty of opportunities to capture memories at the photo booth. All of our mothers, grandmothers, aunties and mother-figures, who play a significant role in the lives our students, were presented with a thoughtfully created gift and a cookie, along with the chance to participate in a Mother's Day raffle, with proceeds supporting St Vincent de Paul (Vinnies). We were also very fortunate to enjoy live music performed by our talented student band, adding to the sense of celebration.
Once again, this beautiful event was made possible through the support of our Parent Voice, whose commitment to strengthening community spirit is very much appreciated.
The Mother’s Day Breakfast, alongside our ANZAC College Service, the Year 8 Retreat and the Interhouse Cross Country carnival, has provided a special start to Term Two. Collectively, these experiences remind us of the importance of acknowledging and celebrating those who have made a difference, both to our lives and to the lives of others—through service, participation, care and faith.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of these memorable occasions. God bless.
