Message from the Principal

Dear Community,

As we come to the end of Week 3, we give thanks for another wonderful week of learning across our school. It has been pleasing to see students engaged, curious, and striving to do their best in all areas. Our classrooms continue to be places of growth, collaboration, and joy, and we are grateful for the strong sense of community that supports this.

A highlight of the week was the Grade 4/5/6 camp. This was a fantastic experience for our senior students, filled with opportunities for challenge, teamwork, and building independence. We thank our staff (Julie C, Blythe and Barb) who generously gave their time to attend and support the camp—your care and commitment ensured it was a memorable and successful experience for all involved.

We also enjoyed a beautiful Mother’s Day Breakfast on Friday morning. It was lovely to see so many families come together to celebrate and share this special time. Events like these strengthen the connections within our school community, and we thank everyone who helped organise and attend, particularly Barb for her eye for detail and care for always catering a wonderful spread.

As we approach Mother’s Day, we extend our warmest wishes to all mothers and special mother figures in our community. We thank you for the love, care, and guidance you provide each day. May you feel appreciated and celebrated this Sunday.

Looking ahead to next week, we are excited about the installation of our new playground, which will begin on Tuesday. This is an exciting development for our school; however, it does mean that the playground area will be closed for several days while the installation is completed and finalised. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritise safety during this time, and we look forward to unveiling the finished space for our students to enjoy.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kind regards,

Shannon Betham
