Year 7 News

Lockers
Year 7 students are reminded that you MUST have a lock on your locker. Any valuables left inside is the student's responsibility. Locks also help look after the hinges so that the doors are not left swinging and bending- this also keeps Mr Queale happy!
Interim Reports
A friendly reminder to parents and students that teachers are in the process of thinking about reports. It is essential that students are trying their best in all classes. Students are reminded that they need to contact the teacher if they need help, or if needing extension. Having good communication and study habits will set students up in future years.
Welcome Miss Cope!
Earlier in the term we farewelled Mrs Wright and welcomed Miss Cope as the Year 7 Acting Leading Teacher.
Miss Cope is a wonderful addition to the Year 7 Team. Miss Cope is very much looking forward to working with our Year 7 students and supporting them throughout the year. The current Student Engagement and Wellbeing (SEW) team will remain unchanged – Belle Healey and Maia Blair as YLCs, Tom Dunn as Wellbeing and Liam Price as Assistant Principal. This continuity will ensure that students continue to receive consistent support from familiar staff who know them well.
Uniforms
With the colder weather students are reminded to ensure they are wearing appropriate clothing to stay warm and comfortable at school. With this they need to ensure they are wearing a College uniform. Any long sleeve undergarments must be either white or navy and no hoodies are to be worn under school shirts.
Student Spotlight – Aaliyah Batty
Aaliyah won first place in the Natimuk Show for her incredible lino print.
She designed, carved and printed a whale shark.
Congratulations Aaliyah!
