🧩 Jigsaws in the Library

Sometimes we just need to sit back, relax, and chill with friends — and that’s where our never-ending jigsaws come in. 

🦋 Nature at its best in the library 

A special thanks to Jodie Pignataro for setting up caterpillars in a special enclosure in the library so students could watch them transform into chrysalises and then emerge as strong, beautiful Monarch butterflies. 

🌿 On Tuesday, we released our five butterflies into the school’s front garden. 

🎉 David Attenborough's 100th birthday. 

Last week we celebrated Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday along with the rest of the world. There are very few people who haven’t heard of this iconic individual. 

🌿 As HCCB Library’s tribute to Sir David Attenborough, we played his nature documentaries throughout the day in the library. 🐋

📚 New Books - Read, Return, Repeat. 

Check out the new shipment of books to hit the HCCB Library shelves! There are plenty of new graphic novels and a couple of full series to sink your teeth into. 

I you want to reserve a book, head to the Library Portal, find the book you’re after, and click “Reserve”. When the book is ready for you to pick up, an email will get sent to your school email address.
