Value Awards 

Well done to the following students for receiving value awards from the past week 

Marlie Roberts – For applying and extending yourself in Psychology

  • Jayden Uebergang – For completing your Design Folio sections in Metal work. 

  • Aiden Reinheimer – For high effort and energy in Basketball Academy 

  • Immy Young – For completing your Global Goodies work requirement to a high standard in International Foods

 

Careers Expo

The Careers Expo will be running on Tuesday the 23rd of June, Year 10 students will receive there permission form in Form Group next week. This will need to be returned by the 18th June. 

 

The Expo features a dynamic mix of interactive, informative, and hands‑on experiences, including:

  • Career and Course Exhibitor Displays

  • Manufacturer and Trade Interactive Activities – “Try a Trade”

  • Try VET Centre (NEW)

  • Industrial Zone – Large Machinery and Equipment (NEW) 

 

Winter Uniform

As the weather is starting to get a lot colder students will need to start wearing their winter uniform. Please remember that hoodies and Katmandu jackets are not part of our uniform. If you are needing assistance with uniform, please reach out the Year 10 team. 

 

Work Experience 

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no Year 10 classes running this week.We would like to wish all Year 10 students participating in work experience the very best for the week ahead.For students who are not undertaking work experience, please remember that you are still required to attend school for certain days/periods next week if you:

  • are accelerating in a Year 11 or 12 subject

  • are in a Foundation Maths or Literacy class

Please also note that VET classes will still be running on Wednesday (work experience students need to attend work experience over VET).

 

Local Legends 

Well done to both Lani King and Zac Martin for winning the Spirit of Football and Netball awards in the Wimmera league.

Year 10 Outdoor Ed Class:

The Year 10 Outdoor Education students recently took part in a Trangia cooking session as part of their practical learning activities.

 

Students worked together to safely set up and use the Trangia cooking systems while preparing simple meals outdoors.
