Student Achievements

Table Tennis Australia Tour 

Arvin Yeung (Year 10) and Zachary Ma (Year 5) had a great experience at the Table Tennis Australia (TTA) Tour in Canberra. 

Zachary was crowned champion in the U11 Boys’ Singles. He also competed at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender tournament in Perth the week after and achieved strong results in both the U11 and U13 age groups. 

Arvin won two silver medals in the U21 Men’s Singles and U19 Boys’ Singles, as well as a bronze in the U17 Boys’ Singles. 

Over the course of this year’s TTA Tour, held in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra, Arvin achieved one gold, three silver and three bronze medals across the U17, U19 and U21 singles categories.

Gymnastics Australia National Clubs Carnival

Congratulations to Romy Goldenberg and Jennie Ren (Year 7) and Bridget Giouris (Year 8) who represented Skylarks Sports at the Gymnastics Australia National Clubs Carnival on the Gold Coast in September.

While there were no podium finishes this time, all three athletes performed brilliantly, showing incredible strength, teamwork and determination. 

Competing in Acro Gymnastics, they embodied their club’s culture of valuing progress over results and demonstrated outstanding team spirit, supporting each other wholeheartedly across two full days of competition. Well done, girls!
