Beachside Division Athletics Carnival

It was a fantastic day for our Years 5 and 6 students at the Beachside Division Athletics Carnival held on Friday 10 October. Four of our talented athletes proudly represented the Balaclava District, competing with determination and school spirit. Their efforts led to some wonderful results:

• Thomas Volpe, Year 5
  • 4th place – 100m
  • 2nd place – 200m 
  • Qualified for Southern Metropolitan Regional Athletics
• Mia Nation, Year 6
  • 4th place – 1500m
• Maisie Lewicki, Year 6
  • 4th place – Discus
  • Strong performance – High Jump
• Millie Simpson, Year 6
  • 1st place – Shot Put
  • Qualified for Southern Metropolitan Regional Athletics

We're incredibly proud of all four students for their hard work, sportsmanship and achievements on the day!
