Patterson River Secondary College Art Show! 

The Patterson River Secondary College’s Art Show highlighted the incredible talent of our students, with a diverse range of works in painting, sculpture, ceramics, design, photography and more. From vibrant drawings to thought-provoking portraits, the event was a true reflection of the creativity and dedication of artists across all grade levels.

This year’s Art Show was an overwhelming success, with a fantastic turnout of parents and community members. It was inspiring to see students proudly pointing out their artwork, sharing the stories behind their pieces and discussing their creative process with friends and family.

A huge thank you to the Arts department and support staff for their dedication and hard work in making the show such a success. On behalf of the Visual Arts department, congratulations to all students whose work was featured in the exhibition!

Year 9 Ceramics

Both our current Year 9 Ceramics elective classes have had a great Semester making pots and bowls using all different methods and techniques and we have been able to finish the Semester with messy and fun lessons on the Pottery Wheel! Students have all really enjoyed this engaging challenge, demonstrating both their persistence (with their wonky pots) and their respect (helping with the messy clean up!).
