Inclusive Learning in a Changing World
As part of the AngliSchools Vision for Learning, we highlight the learner attribute Inclusive. Our Anglican identity reminds us that every person is made in the image of God and deserves to feel known, valued and respected. Students learn best when learning environments are agile and responsive to their individual needs, strengths and circumstances.
Inclusive learning design supports all students to participate fully, recognise their unique gifts, and value the diversity of others. When relationships are strong and differences are celebrated, students feel a greater sense of belonging and connection to their learning community.
As education continues to evolve, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) are becoming more visible. Used thoughtfully, these tools have the potential to support accessibility, personalise learning, and remove barriers for some learners. At the same time, families should be aware that many AI platforms have age requirements (often 13+), collect personal information, and require careful supervision.
Our focus remains on ensuring that technology is used in ways that are ethical, inclusive and supportive of student wellbeing - enhancing learning without replacing human relationships, judgement or care.
By working together, we can ensure that all students feel safe, supported and valued as learners, while confidently navigating new opportunities in an ever‑changing educational landscape.
