We have been working with our uniform provider, Noone, for the last few months to design new student uniform ‘wardrobes’. Once we have narrowed down these options, we will seek feedback from students and families before making final decisions. The new uniform will strike a balance between the uniformity we all seek and student choice from complementary items within a wardrobe.
In the meantime, we are experimenting with the trans-seasonal approach to the wearing of our current uniform. This means, students can choose to wear either summer or winter uniforms, in their entirety, depending on weather conditions that day. Given the recent mild weather, I know many students are grateful for this approach. Blazers will be required for Senior School Chapel and Assemblies irrespective of the uniform worn, however.
I wanted to express my appreciation to our students, families and staff who participated in public ANZAC Services across the region in recent times. I’m particularly thankful to our speakers, musicians, singers and Cadets who supported our very moving service at the College. Special thanks to Major Hamish McNamara, father of Elizabeth (Yr 4) and Amelia (Yr 7), for his excellent address at our ceremony.
