New Zealand National Band Championships

Year 10 student Harley Gurr recently travelled to New Zealand with the Wodonga Brass Band over the Easter break, enjoying an unforgettable musical experience. The tour provided a valuable opportunity to hear and learn from highly experienced players, as well as to compete at a national level. Alongside the performances, the group also took in some sightseeing, making the trip both educational and enjoyable.

The band was led by Trinity’s band director, Mrs Fenella O’Sullivan, with staff member Jennifer McMillan also attending and performing on trumpet.

Border Music Camp

BMC is a professional and superbly fun music camp that runs in the July school holidays in Albury NSW.

Open to orchestral and band musicians of all ages and abilities, from beginners through to experienced players aged 8 to 80 (and sometimes above), come and spend a week learning and making music together! The best way to learn music is to be immersed in it. For a week, you live and breathe music — nothing else.

2026 Camp runs Sunday 5 July - Saturday 11 July 2026 at The Scots School Albury.
