News from Year 5/6

CONGRATUALTIONS TO ALL FOR MAKING IT THROUGH THE FIRST TERM!  We wish you a very happy, safe and relaxing holiday break.  

Here are some of the student's thoughts after their first High School Transition session... 

Kade – I liked seeing all my old friends who used to go to the primary schools and St Joe’s 

Bennet – I enjoyed the cooking and eating the pizza

Joe –  I like eating the pizza, it tasted 

Ollie – The best thing about going to Upper Yarra Secondary was being able to experience the fun of cooking in the kitchen there, enjoying the time with my friends, and eating the pizza.  And the maths games were very fun. 

Maddi – It was fun cooking at the high school. 

Will – The best thing about going to the High School was seeing all my old friends and making the pizza. 

Quinn – I liked doing the math at the high school because it was fun games

Zac – I enjoyed making the pizzas

Amelia – My highlight was making pizzas, playing games, and seeing my sisters' friends

Archer – Doing the cooking and the math was fun, especially eating and making the pizza, and the math games were fun. 

Jayden – I liked the variety in classes 

Blake – I think making the pizzas was the best thing about high school. I enjoyed putting the ingredients on the pizza and trying new things. 

Lilliana – I enjoyed seeing the high school kids who used to be at St Joesph’s school and seeing how they are doing in high school. 

Arlo – The thing I liked the best was cooking the pizzas

Lacey – The best thing about yesterday was being able to have a look at the school and the facilities, and it was pretty fun experiencing the classes. 

Noah – The number one thing was the cooking because it was yummy

Parker V – I enjoyed eating the pizza the most 

Aislinn – I liked it when we made pizzas the most 

Marlee – Doing the cooking was the best because I like cooking 

Samson – My favourite thing about going to high school was when I found out that my sister was helping, cooking, and doing the math.
