Year 10 Media 

In Year 10 Media students have been challenged with re-creating an existing film poster into an entirely new genre. This involved students planning and executing a photoshoot alongside skillful editing in Photoshop to utilize the Media Codes to convey meaning. The results are truly fantastic!

Year 9 Ceramics

In Year 9 Ceramics students were asked to use the pinch-pot construction method and under-glazing techniques to create deceptively real-looking fruit. Many students creatively took this concept to a new direction by transforming their fruits with human-like and architectural features. 

Year Book Cover Art Competition!

We are seeking artwork entries for the front cover of the school year book!

Your design must:

• Incorporate the title "Patterson River Secondary College Yearbook 2026"
• Have some relevancy to the school or the school values or the year in general.
• All entries due first week of term 4, submitted to Ms Stott via MS TEAMS Chat.
• Entries can be drawings, paintings, digital art, photography etc. (scan your artwork if it's non-digital)
• Be as creative as possible!!
• Chat Ms Stott if you have any questions. 

First place will be the front cover of the yearbook, second place will be the back cover and all other entries will still be featured inside!

School Art Show and Year 12 finals!

Well done to all Year 12 ACP students on finishing your final artworks and handing in your Visual Diaries. We look forward to seeing your work on display at our PRSC Annual Art and Design show on November 4-6. 

Art Club

Art Club runs on Mondays during lunchtime in Art 3, all students are welcome! It has been great to see more and more students coming along and being creative in a social, friendly and inclusive space.
