Year 7 Boys Table Tennis 

On Tuesday 15 September, our Year 7 Boys Table Tennis Team competed at the Yu Lin Badminton Club in Keysborough as part of the Inter-School Sport competition. 

It was a smaller competition, with our team competing against two teams from Frankston High School and one team from McClelland College. The boys had a fun day and represented the College exceptionally well. 

Throughout the competition, the boys showed great effort, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. They played with smiles on their faces and supported their teammates. As well as playing their own matches, the boys took responsibility for umpiring and scoring and assisted their teammates throughout the day. 

The competition included both singles and doubles matches, giving the boys plenty of opportunities to develop their skills. It was fantastic to see everyone's table tennis improve as the day progressed, with some excellent shots, competitive rallies and some very closely fought points. 

While the team didn't record an overall team win, they continued to compete hard and showed great determination. The boys lost 6-0 to Frankston High School 1 and 6-0 to Frankston High School 2, before putting up a strong fight against McClelland College, narrowly going down 4-2. 

Congratulations to Liam D, Cody H, Dexter B and Hendrix O on a fantastic day. You should all be proud of the way you competed, supported each other and represented the College. A big thank you also to Mr Watts for coming along and helping out on the day.
