It has been only in the last 100 years that St. Joseph has had more honour within Catholic Liturgy. St. Pope John XXIII added him to the Eucharistic Prayer I in 1962, and in 2013 Pope Francis added his name to the other Eucharistic Prayers. And perhaps it has taken this long because he is the saint the modern culture needs.
St. Joseph was quiet and contemplative, obedient, loving and thoughtful, but all in a silent manner. Our culture of putting all our thoughts and words and selfies for the world to see need an example of how we can become of saint even with a hidden and quiet vocation. St. Joseph is the saint for our times.
This Father's Day, let us put St. Joseph in a place of honour. Let us go to St. Joseph for our needs. St. Joseph, pray for us!

Heavenly Father,
you entrusted your Son Jesus,
the child of Mary,
to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.
Bless all fathers
as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom,
tenderness and patience;
support them in the work they have to do,
protecting those who look to them,
as we look to you for love and salvation,
through Jesus Christ
our rock and defender.
Amen.
We would like to invite our Prep and 1/2 families to this year's Faith Nights. These are wonderful opportunities to gather together and spend time in prayer, listening to stories and working together as a family. We hope to see as many families join us on these evenings as possible.

This year, Community Masses will be run all the way through the year on every third Sunday of the month. The dates are below - we invite everyone to join us during 2026 for these Masses, as we continue to build up this faith community.

We encourage you to spread the word of our Community Masses and invite as many family, friends, neighbours and others to these celebrations.
