The John Paul II Archibald Prize

Our students are working hard creating amazing portraits of St Mary MacKillop for our very first John Paul II Archibald Prize to celebrate Catholic Education Week. In the next newsletter you will find out who the lucky winner is after entries close on St Mary’s feast day, next Friday, 8th August.

What a wonderful way to learn about and celebrate the life of a woman who worked tirelessly to build some of the very first Catholic schools. Mary and her sisters devoted themselves to the education of children and is a fitting subject for our very first John Paul II Archibald Prize. We wish all of our students who are submitting their portraits the very best of luck!
