2026 is already shaping up to be another exciting and vibrant year for our FCIP students. With more than 550 students enrolled across 19 ensembles, our musicians are preparing a full calendar of competitions, performances, and community events.

Following the tremendous success of our recent New Zealand Music Tour, students will once again take part in a wide range of major events. In May, our ensembles will return to the stage for Rock Symphony – “Latin Fiesta”, before heading into a busy season of marquee events including the Queensland Youth Music Awards, Senior and Intermediate Music Camp, the Queensland Catholic Colleges Music Festival, and finally the FCIP Concert Series to close the year. These opportunities continue to provide our students with invaluable performance experience and contribute significantly to the vibrant musical life of our FOTH community.

By Year 12, you’ve shown leadership, commitment, and a strong sense of teamwork. In the FCIP, your contribution goes beyond individual talent - you’ve helped shape the ensemble itself. Music reminds us that while each player matters, it’s the unity of the group that creates something truly special.

During this week’s assembly at Mount Alvernia College, we were proud to congratulate our 2026 FCIP Seniors for their years of dedicated service to the FCIP by presenting them with their FCIP Seniors badge. We look forward to the leadership they will bring in 2026.
