EASTERN METROPOLITAN REGIONAL ATHLETICS

On Thursday 23rd October 16 of our extremely talented Karoo athletes made their way to Doncaster Athletics track to compete in the Eastern Metropolitan Region Athletics Carnival. This in itself is a HUGE achievement for any athlete as this is the level just before the State championships. A massive congratulations to the following students for their performance today.... Sam G (discus, shotput, relay), Yevin G (relay), Timmy T (relay), Kai W (200m, relay), Ava S (relay), Kirra T (relay), Zalia H (shotput, relay), Jade V (shotput, high jump, relay), Lilly V (relay), Alira C (relay), Alicia G (relay), Natalie A (relay) Alex G (triple jump, high jump), Jasper Z (200m), Chloe V (triple jump, 800m) and Annabelle L (shotput). A huge effort in particular goes to our year 4 students (and parents for pick up and drop off!); Zalia, Ava, Kai and Jade who took  time away from Year 4 camp to compete, and to Sam, Yevin, Timmy and Kirra who only arrived back from Year 3 camp the day before!
