Book Fair

A huge thank you to our parents, students, teachers, and wider community for supporting our Book Fair. Your enthusiasm and generosity helped make the event such a wonderful success. We hope everyone enjoys reading their new books and that these new reads inspire many exciting adventures, discoveries, and a love of reading. Happy reading!

Prep Enrolments for 2027

A reminder to families that Prep enrolments for next year are now open. If you have a child starting school next year, please feel free to collect an enrolment pack  from the office or feel free to book a school tour. Applications can be completed via VicStudents or by clicking the button below. 

We look forward to welcoming our new Prep students and families to our school community.

Working Bee Postponed

Unfortunately due to forecasted inclement weather on Sunday, we will need to postpone our scheduled working bee. Thank you to the families that had already volunteered, we hope to see you and many more families attend when we reschedule.

Community Pantry

A reminder that the Hands of Yarra Community Pantry is available for all members of our Yarra Road community to access. The pantry is located outside the school office and can be accessed at any time during school hours.

The Hands of Yarra Community Pantry offers free pantry staples, snacks, drinks, toiletries, and pre-filled “Family Boxes” for any member of our school community. Items available include:

• Rice, pasta and meal bases

• Sauces and condiments

• Canned goods and ready-made meals

• Bread and cereals

• Long-life milk, tea and coffee

• Lunchbox snacks

• Toiletries and essential household items

Simply visit during office hours to take what you want or need, or contact the office if you would prefer a box to be packed for collection.

Donations Needed

We are gratefully accepting all donations to help keep the pantry stocked and supporting our community. At the moment, we are particularly in need of:

• Rice, pasta and meal bases

• Toiletries

• Lunchbox snacks

All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated and help support members of our school community.

Next time you are in the office, be sure to take a look at our Community Pantry! 

Drop off and Pick Up

Just a reminder to all parents and carers not to park or stop their vehicles in the “Keep Clear” zone in front of the school. These areas are in place to help students safely cross the road and to ensure clear visibility for drivers and pedestrians. When cars stop in these zones, it can make it much harder for students to cross safely and creates additional safety risks during busy drop-off and pick-up times. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep all members of our school community safe.
