Dear St Joseph's Parents and Carers,
What an amazing turn out by our school community! A massive thank you to all of our amazing father's, grandfather's and family members who attended our Father's Day Breakfast last Friday.
Thank you to our wonderful mums for their assistance with our Father's Day BBQ and for coordinating the Father's Day Stall. It was delightful to see the enthusiasm, satisfaction and joy on the faces of our students after deciding on a gift to show their appreciation for the fabulous male role models in their lives.
We always value the opportunity to welcome parents and carers into our school as we celebrate our vibrant and supportive school community. We appreciate your ongoing involvement in your child's educational journey.
This week, our staff had the opportunity to participate in a Learning Walk across three Tamworth primary schools – St Joseph’s West Tamworth, St Edward’s, and St Nicholas. The purpose of the day was to share practice, observe teaching and learning in action, and reflect on ways we can continue to strengthen learning opportunities for our own students.
Staff were able to walk through classrooms, see a variety of teaching strategies, and engage in professional conversations with colleagues. These experiences are valuable in helping us to reflect on our own practices and bring new ideas back into our school community.
We are grateful to the three schools for so warmly opening their doors and allowing us to learn alongside them.
