Term 3 - What's Been On

Children stepped into the world of film-making and performance during Movie Week. They created their own movie tickets and posters and even staged puppet theatre productions. There were plenty of  acting out favourite scenes, and dancing to popular soundtracks. The highlight was designing popcorn boxes and playing trivia and charades, which brought plenty of laughter to the room.

The first week of September was all about celebrating the arrival of spring. Children explored nature through bug house building, insect bingo, and a scavenger hunt. They expressed their creativity by making flower chains, sun catchers, and petal collages, while origami bees and butterflies added a delicate touch to the week. Outdoors, they enjoyed races, and chalk drawings, while our Farmers’ Market role-play helped them connect to fresh produce and seasonal change. It was a vibrant week full of colour, movement, and discovery.

COMING UP - Spring Holiday Program!

We are very excited for our upcoming Secret Garden Holiday Program. This program has been carefully designed to combine adventure, creativity, and exploration, offering something for everyone.

Children will enjoy an excursion to Luna Park Carnival, where rides and games will create lasting memories. Two exciting incursions are planned: a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, bringing the whimsy of Wonderland to life with costumes and games, and Animal Instincts, where children will meet and learn about fascinating creatures.

Our in-house days will be just as engaging, with activities such as Pass the Popcorn, a movie-themed day of games and crafts; Hidden Gems, a treasure hunt adventure; Secret Garden Creations, nature-inspired art and play; Spring Break Fun, filled with sports and outdoor challenges; and Farmyard Fun, where children can enjoy barnyard-inspired activities.

The program also offers flexibility for families, with the benefit of the Child Care Subsidy helping reduce fees by up to 90 per cent. Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to book early to secure a place in what promises to be a memorable holiday program school holidays. Reminder to book in soon to secure your spot.
