Here's what's happening in 

SWL – (Structured Work Placements) in Vocational Major and VCE

Vocational Major students not currently doing an SBAT will be looking for Structured Work placements (20 days) in Terms 2 and 3 particularly related to their VET Subject.

If they attend their VET program on a Wednesday, they must do their Structured Work Placement on a Friday or vice versa.

Year 10 students

Work Experience is coming up from 4th to 8th June 2026 and our students are eager to get their forms signed and returned but they might need support from family members who are employed and whose employers are willing to give our students an opportunity into the world of work.

Dates to Diarise in Term 2

· 103 VCE Year 11 students to attend VCE and Careers Expo 2026 on Thursday 30th April 2026 from 11:30 am to 3:15 pm @ Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf.

· SELLEN CAREER & TRY A TRADE EXPO on Tuesday 12th May 2026 at KCC Park from 11 to 1 pm for Vocational Major students

· MONASH CAMPUS Tour for all Year 10 students Monday 18th May 2026

· 12th June Westall Secondary College Annual Career Expo – Sports Centre from 11am to 1:30 pm and is open to Parents/Guardians and Care givers. We welcome Parents and Guardians to visit our school’s Sport Centre where the Expo is held. There is always something to learn about Careers and Pathways and this partnership between our school community and key stake holders in education is so important for our students’ wellbeing and making their mark in the world.
