BOOK WEEK DRESS UP PARADE & ASSEMBLY
Yesterday our school was transformed into a wonderful world of storybook characters, with dragons, princesses, wizards, cowboys and sporting heroes roaming the school grounds!
Well done to our wonderful Library Monitors, who hosted the assembly and were presented with their Certificates of Appreciation for their continued support and commitment to helping Mrs Capp in the Library throughout the year.
Congratulations to our lucky prize draw winners who won a $10 gift voucher for Book Club!
It was wonderful to see our families clapping along to the music and joining together for lunch afterwards. We definitely celebrated the power of reading!!
Thank You to Our School Community!
A huge thank you to all our wonderful parents, carers, and families for making this year’s Book Week Parade such an incredible success! We are so grateful for the time, effort, and creative energy you put into helping with costumes, encouraging your children, and bringing our "Symphony of Stories" theme to life.
Your support does so much more than make parade day fun—it shows our students how exciting books can be and fosters a lifelong love for reading across our entire school community. Thank you for celebrating storytellers, illustrators, and the power of imagination with us!
BRAIN OLYMPIA
Good luck to the team members competing in round one of Brain Olympia in Walgett next Tuesday, 25th August.
The students will compete against other Diocesan schools in general knowledge, public speaking, problem solving and drama.
