Interschool School Sports

Since the start of the term, all Level six students and a few Level fives have been taking part in inter school sports. They have been involved in a large variety of summer sports including volleyball, kanga cricket, hotshots tennis, softball, rounders and endzone. All teams have participated and competed against another school at least three times.
Students arrive early to either walk to Caulfield or go on a bus to another school to compete. House Captains arrive earlier to help out in the gym by setting up equipment. This happens every Friday where teams compete until recess then return to school.
For the first match, the softball, rounders, and volleyball teams travelled to Mount Waverley Primary School to compete, and Kanga Cricket, Hotshots, and endzone walked to Caulfield Grammar School.
Some successful teams or singles participating in progressive sports may have a chance to advance to district or division level.
Two weeks ago, the Volleyball, Kanga Cricket, Hot Shots tennis went to Caulfield Grammar to verse Mount Scopus, and Rounders and Softball went to Mount Scopus Primary School to compete against Mount Scopus. It was another exciting game, filled with excitement and tension!
Sometimes we have buy-ins, which means that we don’t verse anyone and Jells takes the win. The whole cohort of Level 6 played fun games, and overall it was a fantastic experience, with tense, exciting games for everyone.
