Ladies Lunch – A Beautiful Celebration of Women
Our Loreto Ladies Lunch, held on Sunday 31 May, was a beautiful celebration of women within our community. It was lovely to see so many current parents, past parents and members of the LOSA community come together for such a special occasion.
A heartfelt thank you to our beautiful Old Scholar guest speakers, Andrea Heading and Georgie Lewis, for sharing their stories and insights. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Assistant Principal: Pedagogy and Academic Leadeship Mel Pedavoli, who did a fabulous job as MC for the afternoon.
We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of our community through our silent auction and raffle prizes. Thanks to this generosity, our fundraising efforts generated $5,250 - a wonderful result that will directly support our restoration of the Acaicas Building. Events such as these would not be possible without the kindness and support of our donors, sponsors, and attendees.
A heartfelt thank you to Endota Burnside for their ongoing support of the Loreto Marryatville community. They have generously contributed vouchers and prizes across many of our College events, and we are truly grateful for their kindness and partnership. We warmly encourage you to visit Endota Burnside when you are next in need of some self-care, and to let them know you are part of the Loreto community.
And for the dads, don't worry - we haven't forgotten you! Be sure to save the date for our Fathers and Friends Dinner, which will be held on Friday 30 October!
Loreto Old Scholar Spotlight
We are excited to celebrate Loreto Old Scholar Marie Shaw AM KC (nee Roberts, Class of 1969) and past parent, who has been awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to law, the legal profession and the wider community.
Marie’s distinguished career has been marked by leadership, advocacy and a deep commitment to supporting others. Among her many contributions, she co-founded the Ice Factor Program, which has transformed the lives of countless young people. This honour is a fitting recognition of her extraordinary impact, and we are proud to count Marie among our Loreto community.

Invitation to Local Wineries
On Sunday 26 July, the Loreto Old Scholars Association will be hosting a special event for all Old Scholars. As part of the celebration, they are inviting wineries to join them to offer tastings and the opportunity to sell their wines. If you or someone you know has a winery and would be interested in being involved, we would love to hear from you.
