Connect: Year 5

Dear Families,
As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, we would like to thank students and families for their ongoing support and involvement. Throughout the term, students have engaged in a wide range of learning experiences and opportunities, including Interrelate, the Lightning Premiership, novel studies, fractions, wellbeing lessons, and Student Conferences.
Thank you to the parents and carers who attended our Student Conferences. These meetings provided a valuable opportunity to celebrate student achievements, reflect on progress, and set meaningful goals for future learning.
We are looking forward to another exciting term ahead, with the highlight being our Grade 5 camp to Sovereign Hill. Students will explore a range of engaging topics across the curriculum, including the British Colonies, Australian Democracy, plant survival, decimals, fractions, and percentages.
Next term will also see preparations for our whole-school production. Students will participate in dance lessons as they rehearse for their concert item, and we are delighted to share that several Grade 5 students have secured speaking roles in the production. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and look forward to seeing them shine on stage.
We wish all families a safe and relaxing break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another rewarding term of learning and growth.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Jenny and Krystal
