As we near the end of another busy year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has volunteered, attended meetings, donated prizes, helped at events, or supported the P&F in any way throughout 2025. 

Your time, energy and generosity make such a difference in building the wonderful sense of community that defines SVC.

We’d love to see even more families involved in 2026 — whether that’s just being on our email list to keep up to date, or joining a committee, lending a hand at an event, or sharing your ideas.

Need Help Navigating Social Media Changes?  We do too! - Here is some information to help us as parents:

From 10 December 2025, social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X and YouTube will no longer allow children under 16 to create or maintain accounts. 

While under-16s can still view publicly available content, these new restrictions may change how schools and families communicate online.

For guidance and resources to help navigate these changes, visit the eSafety Commissioner’s Social Media Age Restrictions Hub — a valuable space for parents, educators and young people as we prepare for these updates.
