Mr Thymon Venter
Thank you to the lovely mother-figures and their sons for joining us for our second instalment of Waltz practice in preparation for the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner. It was an amazing opportunity to see our young men show their dance moves with their mother-figures.

On Tuesday 11 November, the College will be holding our Remembrance Day Service at the Senior College. This is an important event in our calendar and this year, we are wanting to commemorate those past students who have served or are serving and remember their valuable actions in protecting our nation.
The College has been searching through our archives, identifying and celebrating those students who have served and proudly respected our College.
As part of this, we will also run activities on Friday for extended PC focused on the symbolism behind the Remembrance Poppy and the history of service.
Lord, as we begin a new term,
renew our hearts with the same Spirit that moved in the life of Christ —
the Spirit of compassion, understanding, and humility.
May we see our work not as a list of tasks,
but as a sacred calling to form hearts and minds in Your image.
Teach us to be gentle with ourselves and with one another,
to recognise the divine spark in each student and colleague,
and to carry the light of Christ into every corner of our community.
Let the wisdom gained from the term that has been
shape our actions in the term to come.
Help us to apply our learnings with grace,
to listen more deeply,
to speak with kindness,
and to serve with joy.
May our College continue to be a place of belonging, growth, and faith —
a place where compassion is lived, not just spoken.
And may St Virgil, our patron,
intercede for us as we strive to live with courage, integrity, and love.
Amen.
