Winter Concert
Congratulations to all our music students who performed at a sold out Winter Concert last week. All four bands are playing incredible music and it was a wonderful night to celebrate all the student’s hard work. Well done in particular for our amazing Training Band and their first ever performance. All the teachers were so proud of their performance and preparation.
Term 3 is always a busy time in the music department and we wish good luck to our Senior and Intermediate Concert Bands who are preparing for performances in the upcoming Victorian Schools Music Festival.
Small Groups Concert
Our next concert is the Small Groups Concert which features our Choir, Stage Bands and different instrumental groups. This concert is 7.00pm Thursday 10 September in the Performing Arts Theatre and is always a great night to see some of the different things our students are doing. Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at Trybooking.
Students performing do not need tickets.

End of Year Concert | Save the Date
Friday 23 October is our biggest and most important concert of the year at Frankston Arts Centre. The concert starts at 7.00pm. Pop it in your diary. I’ll have links and information for purchasing tickets soon!

To Izel Briones…..again!
Last month Izel received the prestigious ADFAS Bursary from the Peninsula Music Society. On Sunday 26 July Izel competed in the Victorian Bands League Solo Championship for Trumpet and she won!
Well done on being 2026 State Champion for Solo Junior Trumpet!
To Senior Concert Band and Intermediate Concert Band!
Both bands performed at the Victorian School Music Festival. The Victorian Music Festival draws 10,000 students from around Australia each year and all the best music programs in Victoria participate. Our students represented the school so well receiving Gold Awards for their outstanding performances.
Congratulations to all the students and teachers for their months have hard work preparing for these wonderful performances.
