Australian Mathematics Competition 2026

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) will be held in Term 3 on Wednesday 5th August and Thursday 6th August.  The competition runs over the two days to accommodate for the increasing number of students at St Simon’s who wish to compete! Last year we had an amazing 140 students who entered the competition, what a great effort!

It’s open to all Grade 3 to Grade 6 students to enter the competition. 

The Australian Mathematics Competition is designed to be a fun event to promote Mathematics as well as giving students external recognition of their achievements. 

If you would like your child to participate please ensure that a CDFPay payment is made. CDF payments for the Maths Competition is now open, the cost of the entry fee is $9.30.  

The payment is your consent that you wish your child to participate. There are no refunds. 

The payment deadline is on Tuesday 30th June in order for your child to participate in the competition in Term 3.   There are no exceptions
