Dear Parents and Carers
The season of winter is very much upon us as we come to the end of the first week of June.
During the school day, we will adjust students' outdoor play based on weather conditions. This means that students may stay indoors for recess and lunch play. We actively monitor the weather to look for opportunities for students to get outdoors.
Please note that the school has a limited supply of spare uniform items for situations where students become wet or muddy. If your child comes home wearing a spare item of clothing, please ensure that it is returned to school, cleaned, and ready for someone else to use as soon as possible.

Extra Curricular Activities - After School
From time to time, families have expressed an interest in access to after-school activities for students across a range of interests and hobbies.
These activities are not a replacement for our after-school care program, operated by Beyond EduCare, rather they are shorter (around 30-60min) sessions that operate for part of a school term.
In the past, we have had tennis coaching, and the Young Engineers Lego Club operated for several Terms through a school year.
In Term 3, we have a new opportunity for families to consider.
Code Camp - After School Coding Opportunities
After-School Code Camp allows kids to hone their coding skills and keep practising through weekly sessions over the term. Each week, students will choose the features they want to build and advance their problem-solving skills to build these features using code. They will take ownership over their projects and collaborate with their peers to make awesome apps.

When a school closure day is scheduled, Beyond Edu Care will operate a program of care for the day so that families can have their children looked after on the school site.
