Grade 1 | Leatherwood

Grade One students recently in technology have been learning about data. We have been observing the weather and creating picture graphs to present our findings. We learnt that there are many different forms of data including sounds, images numbers and text. We discovered that when data becomes information it can help us make decisions. 

In art we used our learnt knowledge of the four different seasons to build a 3D diorama on one of the seasons. The students enjoyed learning how to fold and twist the paper to make their sun, clouds and butterflies bounce. In English we then wrote a poem about the sounds that lightning, puddles and rain makes.
