Acting Principal's Message
Mrs Lauren Hall | Acting Principal
Last week I had the privilege of attending my first CCEL Conference in Devonport. This conference provided me with the opportunity to network and learn from many experienced principals from across our CET statewide system. I also had the opportunity to listen to and reflect on the words of our new Archbishop during a Mass that we celebrated together on Thursday.
There were many moments during Archbishop Tony’s address that resonated deeply with me and reminded me of my calling to Catholic education as both a teacher and leader.
As I returned to school this week, I felt grateful for the opportunity to reflect on the purpose of my own work and the impact that our dedicated staff, families and students have on making our school such a special community to belong to.
“We educate the mind, certainly. But we also awaken the soul. We help young people discover that they are loved by God and called to love in return. We teach them that faith is not a relic from the past but a living encounter with Christ who walks beside them every day—in their joys, their wounds, their confusion, and their hope.”
Most Rev. Anthony J. Ireland
Archbishop of Hobart

Learning Conferences - Tuesday 30 June, Wednesday 1 July & Thursday 2 July
The end of term is fast approaching and, with it, the opportunity for Learning Conferences to discuss your child’s Mid Year Report. These conversations help strengthen the important relationship between home and school and ensure that we are working together to support each student's learning journey. We encourage all families to make a booking through Compass and take advantage of this opportunity to discuss your child's progress, wellbeing and engagement in learning.
Reports will be released to parents on Friday 3 July.
