Curiosity ELC

Can Pumpkin Be Tasty? Yes!
This week, the Curiosity Kitchen was a hive of activity, with the smell of baking honey and pumpkin filling the centre. Eloise, Blair, Raven, Tahnee, Hanna, Hallie, Georgia, Indie and Noah were our helpers. They each took turns scooping the pumpkin, tipping the flour, pouring the oil, and mixing.
Some of the friends weren’t sure they would like the taste of these new treats we were making.
“I don’t like pumpkin,” said Eloise.
“Me neither!” many friends replied.
“It looks funny,” said Blair, and again, most of the friends agreed.
They were reassured that once it was cooked, it would look much tastier. This was met with a few frowns! However, once it was in the oven and the delicious smell filled the centre, the friends who helped bake - along with many others - commented on how good it smelled, and they were all very excited to try the snack.
The overall feedback from this new recipe was that it was delicious, and the children really enjoyed it...
Why not give it a try at home!
