Trial HSC Examinations – Done!

Congratulations to all Year 12 for successfully completing your Trials HSC Examinations. I hope that you are feeling refreshed and ready to go as you work towards your closing weeks of schooling.

Next Steps

The HSC now changes from an individual effort to a team sport. An important mantra to follow is, “the better everyone goes, the better everyone goes.” It is important for Year 12 to work collaboratively to improve each other and your skills and knowledge.

Things to consider as you consolidate your understanding of your HSC courses:

Do I have a complete set of study notes?
Do my study notes align with the syllabus content dot points?
Where can I find time to practice exam style questions under timed conditions?
Have I practiced past paper HSC questions to support my preparation?

As ever, attendance in these closing weeks is essential as it provides you regular contact with the subject experts – your teachers – and allows you to work on closing any gaps that may still be present.

Upcoming Events

We are also approaching a number of significant events as we farewell our Class of 2026. Our Graduation Ceremony will take place at for a 9:30am on Thursday 24th September. Each family has been allocated two tickets to attend the event, and the ceremony will be live streamed so that extended family and friends can also share in this special occasion. We ask that families please arrive at 9:00am for the event to commence on time. Please note that additional family members or friends should not gather outside the hall, as we want to ensure the event runs smoothly and respectfully for all.

Week 10 will be a busy and exciting time. Students will participate in a Graduation rehearsal and enjoy a range of school spirit activities organised by the SRC. Year 12 will also have multi-days from Monday to Wednesday, ensuring uniforms remain clean and presentable for the Graduation Ceremony on Thursday.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our SRC and school leaders for their energy, creativity, and commitment to fostering school spirit this year. Your efforts have made a lasting difference. I would also like to acknowledge and congratulate the Yearbook Committee for their outstanding work in producing this year’s Yearbook—a wonderful keepsake for our graduating class.

The school Formal will be held on Wednesday 11th November, 2026. Payments for this have now closed. We look forward to celebrating the success of our class of 2026 at this event.
