Recognising Outstanding Service to Public Education
Wyndham College Deputy Principal Ann-Maree Ager was honoured during NSW Public Education Week, receiving a special presentation from Warren Kirby MP, Member for Riverstone, in recognition of her outstanding service to public education.
The commendation recognises Ann-Maree’s inspiring leadership, commitment to equity and inclusion, and her work creating opportunities for diverse learners at Wyndham College. It particularly acknowledges her leadership of the innovative SHINE program, which connects students with mentoring and tutoring to support their learning and pathways.
Ann-Maree was also recognised for her contribution to inclusive education, Visual Arts teaching, community engagement and STEM opportunities, including partnerships that connect students with future careers.
The presentation was a wonderful acknowledgement of Ann-Maree’s ongoing commitment to Wyndham College and to ensuring every student has access to quality opportunities to succeed.

Pop-up Art Gallery
Parents and students were welcomed to visit the Library during Education Week to explore the pop-up art gallery on display.
Year 11 have created “object art” by exploring how objects in art have been depicted over time. Year 12 art students are exhibiting their photography from the recent Cairns adventure in the display.

Congratulations to Wyndham College staff members who were presented with Public Education Week Awards. These awards were nominated by their peers in recognition of commitment, dedication to students and a variety of other reasons.

We finished off Education Week with a sausage sizzle run by our amazing SRC to celebrate our fabulous public school.
